Different Methods of 'Dominating the Market'

In the sphere of telecommunication in the Russian Federation the operator may dominate the market for telecommunications services in three different statuses. 1. Like a natural monopoly (According to the Law on natural monopolies); 2. Like a dominant entity on the market (According to the Law on protection of competition); 3. Like an incumbent operator on the market (According to the Law on telecommunications). In this article the author is going to describe the differences between these statuses, show the criteria and describe some “odd” situations which may arise.
